Look Back Over the Last Year: How Far We've Come
One year ago today, we cut the ribbon on a new chapter.
On September 25, 2025, we stood together at our new Rogers campus and did something bigger than open a building. We introduced ourselves to the world with a new name: Kiefer Sage. During his visit to Kiefer Sage, Congressman Steve Womack: "This is an American story here that is unfolding, and I am just so pleased that it is right here in the middle of the town where I've been a mayor and I've lived for all these years."
A year later, we wanted to pause and look back at how far we've come.
Erin Kiefer, Owner and Chairman of Kiefer Sage, at our ribbon cutting ceremony in September of 2025.
Where it started
Our story was never just about a ribbon cutting or a new building — it's about a grandmother who needed a way to shop with independence, and a founder, Bill Sage, who refused to accept "good enough" as the answer. That empathy-driven instinct in 1983 gave the world its first electric shopping cart, Martcart™, and it's been the thread running through everything we've built since: Spraymaster™, Jotto Desk®, and now the next generation of both.
When we became Kiefer Sage in September 2025, owner and chairman Erin Kiefer described it as building "on that proud history with a new name, a new home, and new opportunities to create solutions that improve lives, support jobs, and serve customers here in Arkansas and around the world." CEO Justin Sparks called it "more than a rebrand, it’s a transformation," bringing 140 employees under one roof, cutting utility expenses by 42%, and eliminating more than 4,000 truck miles a year. We also opened our doors that day to a new co-assembly service, inviting other U.S. manufacturers to build alongside us.
That was day one. Here's what have we done with the year that has followed.
Our leaders from left to right: Amanda Keedy - Vice President and General Manager of Martcart™, Dustin Dalia - Vice President and General Manager of Tenhold™, Erin Kiefer - Owner and Chairman of Kiefer Sage, Justin Sparks - CEO of Kiefer Sage, and Andria Storms - Vice President and General Manager of Spraymaster™.
Investing in our people first
Weeks after the ribbon cutting, we solidified our new brand by rolling out a set of core values:
Who we are: Loving • Gritty • Humble
What we do: Own it • Make it Better
These are not just slogans for a wall, but a working definition of what we aspire to be as a company.
We backed that up with real investment. With three unique businesses, dedicated leadership became more important than ever. Justin Sparks launched our first leadership cohort to give back to our people and develop talent from within. Then in December, we welcomed Noble Gibbens as our first Chief People Officer. Noble dove right into action, learning more about our people and helping them grow. A new leadership structure followed: Dustin Dalia was named Vice President and General Manager of Tenhold™, Andria Storms was named Vice President and General Manager of Spraymaster™, and Amanda Keedy was named Vice President and General Manager of Martcart™. With 49 new employees hired over the past year, the growth we've been building toward is here, and we couldn't be more excited.
Innovation kept moving
Our products didn't wait for the anniversary to catch up. In January, we launched Martcart Zeos™, the most connected mobility cart we've ever built. Erin Kiefer called it a chance to "reimagine what a mobility cart can be", moving from a static piece of equipment to a connected asset that self-monitors battery health and performance, built for the nearly 44 million Americans living with mobility impairments. A December pilot found nine out of ten participants would recommend it to others.
Then in April, Jotto Desk became Tenhold™, debuting next-generation vehicle mounting systems for first responders, including a suppressor lock head engineered to withstand exactly the kind of real-world threat it's meant for — as one Mississippi Highway Patrol fleet director described, a secured AR-15 that didn't budge even after being shot at twice during an attempted break-in. Today, Tenhold supports agencies in more than 25 states.
How far we've come
A year ago, "Kiefer Sage" was a new name on a building. Today it's a company that consolidated its operations, redefined its culture, grew its leadership from the inside out, and introduced major product innovations — all while staying anchored to the same question that started this company more than 40 years ago: who's being overlooked, and how can we build something for them?
We don't just build products. We build the people who build them. Here's to many more years to come.
